फूल - Flowers

फूल प्रकृति की सबसे सुन्दर रचना है । इतने रंग और डिजाइनों में है कि देख देख न मन भरे और न आंखे थके । जानते है कि दुनिया भर में इसकी कितनी किस्मे हैं ? करीब दो लाख 75 हजार । कुछ फूल तो अजीब शकल वाले होते है । जैसे कुत्ता फूल , बटरफलाई फूल

रोमांस, रीति रीवाज , धर्म व पूजा आदि के लिए अलग अलग किस्म के फूल दिए व लिए जाते है । कुछ फुलो से दवाईया बनाई जाती है । कुछ फुल हिंसक होते है । वे मुँह खोल कर रखते है और जैसे ही कोई कीट-पतंगा मुँह में घुसता है मुंह बंद कर लेते है ।

भावनाए व्यक्त करने के लिए फूलों का सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल होता है । इस टर्म को फ्लोरियोग्राफी कहते है । प्यार के लिए लाल, दोस्ती के लिए पीला व झगड़ा खत्म करने के लिए सफेद फूल दिए जाते है । परफेक्ट लव के लिए ट्यूलिप व गुड लक के लिए कारनेशन फ्लावर बेस्ट रहता है ।

वैसे तो हर देश का अपना एक राष्ट्रीय फूल होता है पर अमेरिका इस मामले में अपवाद है । हालांकि उसके हर राज्य का अपना एक फूल जरूर है । भारत का नेशनल फूल कमल है तो आयरलैंड कग शैमरॉक व फ्रांस का फ्लावर द लिस है ।

Grow Champa / Frangipani ( Plumeria ) From Cuttings

Frangipani , Hindi name is CHAMPA , is a flowering tree. This tree native to warm tropical areas and can grow easily in India. It has very fragrant white flowers with yellow centers. They cam be easily propagate through stem cutting.

Take a 5-6 inch thick cutting from a healthy tree. and plant it in well drained soil. You can also plant it in pot.

Frangipani is one of the plants that can be easily propagate through stem cutting. I used soil, sand and manure as potting mix in 1:2:1 ratio.

This picture is exact one month after planting the cutting. And here we can see new growth.

 

Now here i am pretty sure that my cutting is successfull. Here are Two New Big leaves and small other tiny leaves.

Jade Bonsai From Cutting

Hello Everyone.

Here is my jade plant. i grow it from cutting in a 2 litre plastic bottle. it is one year old only. and it looks like ( atleast to me ) a bonsai plant . what you think ?



jade is a secculent plant. it doesnt need any kind of care. just plant it in any kind of soil  and forget it.





this is the original shape of my jade pant.





i just cut lower two branches and it looks like a bonsai, not the best one but still beautifull.

and i am sure it will be a very good bonsai in next 1-2 years.

and 2 cuttings that i obtain from this plant.



i also burry that cuttings in another plastic bottles.
